# Asset Classes

## Cryptocurrencies

LEXER currently offers 3 cryptos at leverage ranges from 2x to 50x:

* BTC
* ETH
* ARB

#### Market Times

Crypto markets are open 24/7, which means you can trade whenever you want. However, when the stock market is closed, there is generally less volume on cryptos, and therefore less volatility.

## Forex

LEXER v2 will offer 6 forex pairs at leverage ranges of 2x to 100x:

* EUR
* GBP
* AUD
* CHN
* JPY
* CAD

#### Market Times

Unlike crypto markets, forex markets are not always open. Times are referenced in ET (New York time).

| Day of the week | Market Open / Close |
| ------------------ | ------------------- |
| Monday to Thursday | Open all day |
| Friday             | Closed from 5pm ET  |
| Saturday           | Closed all day      |
| Sunday             | Open from 5pm ET    |

Forex Markets are also closed during bank holidays.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.lexer.markets/trading/asset-classes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
